Insurance & Billing
Starting in October 2022, we will be in-network for Aetna insurance.
We gladly accept and bill all insurances, except Medicare and Medicaid. Currently, we are accepting Tricare as a secondary insurance only. We do not have a contract with your insurance company, but as a courtesy we will bill them for you. However, you are responsible to make sure your bill is paid. It is also your responsibility to notify us of any change in insurance coverage.
Payment is due at the time of service. We will be happy to work with you on a payment plan that will help you pay your bill without affecting your credit. However, if you do not contact us your account will be sent to collections.
Your provider may order services or testing which are independent from our clinic such as pathology, labs, imaging studies, etc. We do not bill for these services, therefore you will receive bills from other facilities. If you have an EGD or colonoscopy, we will only bill you for the provider portion. You will receive bills from the facility as well as for any pathology services.
It is the patient’s responsibility to contact their insurance company to determine coverage prior to any procedure or testing. Obtaining authorization does not guarantee payment by the insurance company.
Your insurance company may pay on charges according to their usual and customary fee scale. Our fees are set independently from your insurance company. If your insurance company determines a service to be “not covered” or “above usual and customary,” you will be responsible for the balance due.
